A Must Listen Broadcast with Katherine Switzer – The First Woman to Run the Boston Marathon as a Numbered Entry
Runners,
I was driving home a couple of weeks ago I and I stumbled upon this broadcast on 790 AM in LA called Our American Stories 7 – 9 PM. That show was featuring Katherine Switzer – The First Woman to Run the Boston Marathon as a Numbered Entry and her story. It was incredible. Of course, I knew the basic story, but listening to how she got into running, running marathons, the discrimination/stupidity is amazing. And, her continuing story.
