The 2 hour private ChiRunning Lesson is my most popular service.
Why? Because trying to understand the feeling that is ChiRunning from reading the book and/or watching a video is very difficult. It takes some hands on instruction. I’ve was trained and have worked personally with Danny Dreyer on my own form. The ChiRunning posture is very subtle and I give you the small adjustments needed to get it right. You need to put that together with what you’re thinking about. The truth is that ChiRunning is not easy to learn and that’s why we consider it a practice, like a martial art. Plus you get the latest teaching that Danny shares with his instructors that aren’t not found in the book.
You don’t have to be an athlete to take this Zoom class but many do. In fact, athletes can be some of the most inflexible people. This class was designed on the principle my main teacher, Steve Ilg, taught me, “Strength before flexibility.” Don’t worry you don’t have to be strong to take this class but you will get stronger. You don’t have to be flexible to take this class but you will become more flexible. This 60 minute yoga class sticks to basic yoga poses and holding them while you breath and experience what’s going on inside of you. If you have ever been intimidated by yoga and all those bendy people, this class is for you. If you are a total beginner, you will learn the basic poses at your own pace. Don’t worry. If you are inflexible, this class is for you.
Classes are Wednesdays at 5:30 PM with a link sent out to you after the class so if you can’t make that time or want to do it again you have 48 hours.
Please email steve@marathontraining.tv once you have signed up and I will send you a link around noon that Wednesday. Since I am teaching the class and keeping the Zoom program running I will admit everyone until 5:31 PM then admit anyone who was a little late at 5:36 PM. You also always have the replay link later that Wednesday night
Once you have taken a ChiRunning lesson or just want some feedback on your form, schedule an hour run me. I know all sorts of trick to help you improve your running. Of course ChiRunning is the best way but maybe you’re interested in trail running, running on hilly terrain or getting faster, I can help you. We’ll meet up in the San Fernando Valley or we can try to work other arrangements out.
