Post Marathon Recovery Movements Using a Power Plate, Foam Roller and more

Post race recovery includes stretching, body work foam rolling, if you are lucky enough to have a Power Plate and more. The important thing is to stimulate the tissues that increase fresh blood flow to help remove waste products and feed the tissues needed nutrients and oxygen. Overall this will speed up recovery and hep reduce injuries.

In this video I demonstrate many parts of my post race/training recovery routine using a Power Plate, foam roller, balance board and slant board. Think of the Power Plate as a supercharger for the movements shown. The vibration helps stimulate increased blood flow, HGH, other good hormones, creates super quick muscular contractions and can relax the muscles.

Most of movements shown can be done on the ground using the foam roller, slant board, and balance board without the Power Plate.
